| ANIMAL TIME is a comic strip that first ran in the University of Southern California's daily newspaper, the Daily Trojan. It is the first "real" comic strip series I have ever done and working to put these I guess you can say experimental test pieces out has been a great learning experience for me. My drawings and gags were really crude in the beginning but as I kept drawing more and started caring about neatness, the process really helped me hone my comic strip craft. The idea behind Animal Time and all the characters are from my early teenage daydreams of cartoon craziness.
