To any ordinary parent, arcades were an unsavory diversion. (closer on arcade)
Rank with strange odors, sticky floors, and chewed up bubblegum.

But to a ten year old... (show Mike's back?)

...this was paradise. (show Mike's excited face?)

Pukk-Man.
Monkey Cong.
Ace Invaderz.
Dragon Slayer.
F*Burt.
These were the games of my youth.
Page 4
Primitive pixels and 8-bit beats delivered us to digital joy.
Rows of machines kept us high on our toes.
Clinking coin inserts set hearts racing.
Winners and losers were made by the minute.
It was a golden age of fun. (Show coin machine: *ka-ching* *ka-ching* *ka-ching*)

My next rad comic project is very, very, far from completion, has been in development for years, and always in risk of not being made. But it looks totally awesome doesn't it?
